I first began researching my family tree at the age of 14, inspired by my great-grandmother’s stories about her childhood and her uncle who served in the First World War. As I dug deeper, I uncovered many unknown facts about my own family, which sparked a lifelong passion for genealogy.

Seeing shows like Long Lost Family and Who Do You Think You Are? made me realise how powerful family history can be — but I also recognised that not everyone has access to expert help like the celebrities do. Coming from a working background myself, I understand those struggles, and that’s why I became a professional genealogist: to use my skills to help everyday people discover their own family stories.
